A week has passed since the preliminary round of the chunin exam had come to an end, the participants had been given one month to prepare themselves for upcoming finals. The preliminaries had started out pretty uneventful however one match that had stuck out the most was the fight between Hinata and Neji Hyuga the Hyuga prodigy hadn't shown his cousin even an ounce of mercy in their fight leaving the young woman hospitalized and in critical condition.

Neji wasn't the least bit ashamed in fact he seemed proud of what he had done. Little did he know his cruel act had awakened something dark and vengeful within a certain young knuckleheaded genin.
